Somewhere beyond the clouds beyond the rain there are a thousand rainbows
Wow !!!
Didn't expect to see a double rainbow on a day I least expected too...
My second son was sick and I still brought Clarence for swimming lessons...
Last Friday , when I was taking some picture of Clarence after his swimming lessons ( as usual ) , a beautiful scene suddenly appear from the sky !!
The sky slowly turned into grey and two rainbows appear right in front my eyes !!
I was amazed :)
Then , it started to rain , which was followed by strong wind , lightning and thunder !!
I went to rush Clarence up from the pool and Guess what ?
Too late !! I was already wet ! My hair , my clothes , my slippers !!
I can't believe this...as the Chinese saying goes : 天有不测风云 ( the weather can be extremely unpredictable ) ..
and to make matters worst , Clarence kept me waiting outside the Gent's bathroom for over an hour !! ( HE was taking his own sweet time enjoying his bath ) ..
I got worried that maybe he do not know how to come out or so...
I kept asking anyone who enters the bathroom to see whether my son is in...
Thank God a kind gentleman helped me to ask Clarence to come out and brought him to me ...
Lesson learnt ...
Thought sometimes life can be difficult ,
but God is always there to help us through...
God places people in your life , ( or it can be just random people ) ..
to help you when you least expected too..
To all readers ,
Don't be discouraged when you are met with the challenges of life ,
because when the storm subsides ,
the weather will be clear and calm again :)
and when you are lucky , you will be greeted with a rainbow
Clarence's very first facial :D
" Do u want facial?' I asked Clarence
"Facial?" he repeat after me.
At the age 13 now, I felt that I should teach him about skin care and the knowledge of maintaining a clean and better complexion. So, we decide to go Herbaline . Well, I have my monthly facial done there.The atmosphere is amazing with reasonable price ( especially for RM38 for first timers ) Can u believe that ???
Let's take a look at the process and the experience :D
Let the story begins :
Today , I brought Clarence to Herbaline , Pandan Indah for his very first facial :)
At first, I wasn't sure if he will scream when they remove his blackheads or pimples..
However , he was really steady and did not scream during his session :)

《Hold my hand》這首英文歌是林麗娟（Joyce Lim）為13歲的小兒子江政偉（Clarence Kang）所寫，寫的是自閉兒的心聲，也是許多父母對孩子無怨無悔的愛之告白……
他們，我們的世界，會少了很多生氣！
記者準備和Joyce做訪問，13歲的Clarence從樓上下來，拿起媽媽的iPhone就要玩。Joyce解釋，小兒子是過動兒兼自閉兒，無法像一般孩子乖乖坐定。Joyce叫Clarence彈鋼琴給大家听，他躺到地上“扭計”，要媽媽陪他唱才肯彈。當他乖乖坐到鋼琴前，手指開始彈出第一個音符，就仿如變了另一個人，美妙的音樂從他十指下泉涌而出。Joyce唱出自己寫的詞，母子二人默契十足，Joyce偶爾得提醒兒子集中精神，注意拍子。一曲彈畢，Clarence一溜煙跑掉了。
Joyce告訴記者，Clarence三年前才正式開始學鋼琴，現在就要考Diploma了，別的孩子花上10年時間才達到的境界，他僅僅花了三年。自從Clarence上台演出后，電視台、報章紛紛來訪問這名有驚人音樂天分的自閉兒，和他那不平凡的媽媽Joyce。
加倍耐心照顧孩子
政偉和哥哥政輝都是特殊兒童，政偉是過動及自閉兒，政輝是過動兒，Joyce多年來為了孩子的教育及前途問題，可是傷透腦筋。“當發現兩個兒子都是特殊兒童時，我也曾經迷惘，也曾胡思亂想，反覆思考是否因為自己吃錯什么藥導致這樣。”為孩子未來彷徨的Joyce，一天讀到這么一段話：我們的孩子，即使是特殊孩子，也都是神的孩子。神選擇了你來照顧他，因為你有這樣的能力。
這段話給Joyce很大的鼓勵，于是坦然肩起重任，積極四處尋訪專家，打听哪里有適合特殊兒童的學校和課程。她安排兩名孩子進入專門教育特殊兒童的私人學校，同時讓孩子參與各種活動，學鋼琴、畫畫、上主日學、運動，一方面耐心教導他們生活自理技能。大兒子Clifford現在唸家庭學校，鋼琴四級，參與基督少年軍，最近還去露營。
訓練兩名兒子獨立並不容易，小兒子直到10歲才學會自己上廁所、自己沖涼，從穿褲扣鈕到吃飯沖涼，Joyce都要手把手地教。要兼顧事業與家庭，又有兩名特殊孩子要照顧，忙碌的super woman有時也會累，但她知道自己必須撐下去，未來還有許多事情要做，不容浪費時間。
無師自通，潛藏音樂天分
47歲的Joyce從小就是學校里的活躍分子，讀書成績好，彈琴彈得好，又熱愛打球、運動；唸完書后，學美容、選美、當模特兒、唱歌、跳舞。創辦音樂學院后，與先生一起打理生意，一邊張羅兒女的生活，還不時當選美會、歌唱比賽評審，仿佛有用不完的精力。她感嘆做父母肩負很大的責任，養育孩子更是艱巨的工作。為了照顧兩名特殊兒子，她把大部分精力都投注在兒子身上，也曾經擔心過忽略了女兒。幸而大女兒能夠體諒媽媽，更令她欣慰的是，大兒子越來越獨立，小兒子則發掘出驚人的天分。
談起兒子的音樂天分，Joyce開心而驕傲。Clarence還很小時，Joyce要教他彈《小星星》，但兒子把她的手打掉，不肯學。原來當時活在自己世界的他，早在看樂譜，《小星星》對他來說太簡單，根本提不起興趣學。后來，他們發現他在五六歲時自己寫譜，用自己的方式無師自通地彈琴。
三年前，Joyce讓Clarence正式學琴，他突飛猛進，不僅彈鋼琴，還自學提琴、吉他等樂器，表現的音樂天分令人驚訝。Clarence參加學校的特殊兒童合唱團，擔任鋼琴伴奏，隨團到很多地方演出。在校長邀請之下，Joyce為孩子們寫了《Hold my hand》這首歌，希望大家能夠給特殊的孩子們更多關愛和體諒，不要帶著異樣的眼光看他們。
對于孩子的天分又驚又喜，對孩子的未來又喜又憂，每個父母一生牽掛的就是孩子。Joyce的心願很簡單：“別的父母望子成龍，我只希望我的孩子能夠過正常人的生活，健健康康成長就是最大的幸福。”

Heart Me Campaign ( TARC )
www.clarencekang.webs.com Clarence was invited as guest performer by TARC Year 3 students at Heart.me campaign. A campaign to create awareness to the younger generation to take action into contributing to the society that needs help. Tarc students had done a great job!!!!!

Inspired by Clarence - Hold My Hand
Mummy! Hold my hand!' All these years whenever I'm driving Clarence will grab my hand tightly as he jump to my car. Guess what? I'm driving only with one hand, ha! Coz my left hand is occuppied. Wow! I'm an expert now 'one hand drive' :) PLS DO NOT FOLLOW MY WAY OF DRIVING :D
Inspired by Clarence I wrote this song "Hold My Hand" , dedicate to all autistic children.
